Egoli Gas is environmentally friendly

Our gas contains virtually no sulphur. The sulphur added, to a maximum level of 15mg/m3, serves as an odorant for safety purposes. This means that no sulphur is emitted in the form of sulphur dioxide (SO2) – the major cause of acid rain.

Egoli’s gas can also be used in direct-fired systems and the products of combustion will not affect the end product.

Our gas is lighter than the air and disperses easily and harmlessly into the atmosphere.
