Corporate Social Investment
REATILE FOUNDATION TRUST
The Reatile Foundation Trust was established in 2013 as the corporate social investment (CSI) arm of the Reatile Group, a diversified energy investment holding company founded in 2003. Since its incorporation in 2013, the Foundation has donated in excess of R42.2 million to communities and historically disadvantaged individuals across South Africa and has positively impacted the lives of more than 45,000 individuals.
The Foundation was created to ensure that the Group’s growth in the energy sector translates into meaningful social upliftment through structured programmes focused on education, healthcare, and community development. A key focus area is education support, particularly through funded scholarships and bursaries that enable access to quality tertiary and technical education for deserving students.
Egoli Gas, as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Reatile Group, plays an active role in supporting the Foundation’s CSI initiatives. Through its own CSI contributions and employee participation, the company supports community development projects aligned with the Foundation’s focus areas, including education, skills development, and local upliftment in the communities it serves.
Today, the Reatile Foundation continues to expand its impact, working closely with Group companies like us to deliver sustainable, measurable benefits that improve lives across South Africa.
